   Hello,

   I am intending to purchase an apartment in Osaka and the real estate agency requested an affidavit. They said I should have it emitted by a notary public in my home country and bring it with me to Japan. However, they could not provide a document template and the notary public is asking me what this document should contain. I could not find any templates on the internet. I’ve even called both embassies (home country embassy in Japan and Japanese embassy in home country) and they didn’t know. Does anyone have any idea of the text formulation for such an affidavit?
