Mountain climbing in Japan question

Do they have stamps at mountains that you can collect, similar to the 100 castles? I know there’s a famous book but I’m not sure if there’s spaces for the stamps. Would they be available at the trailhead, or at the summit? Fuji I know does the branding on the walking pole, but obviously most places won’t have that.

Found a couple mountains in the Tokyo region that look fun, so heading out tomorrow for a few days!

  1. I’ve never seen stamps, but I sometimes buy the pins you can get on all the big famous mountains.

  2. Fuji has sticks you can buy at the stations. Each station then has a stamp/burn engraving for 200 yen

  3. I collect pin badges of the mountains I hike and they are more common than magnets or stickers even those not so well known mountains they have pin badges.

  4. Lots of the big peaks have stamps, but not all of them. Yari for example has a full box of different ones.

I collect stickers, which 80% of the huts sell.
