Hey guys! I have an issue with Windows 11 for the Japanese input in any program. Whenever I type something in Japanese like Brave, Google Chrome, or even Discord, the IME just does not form characters that require two English characters for a single hiragana/katakana character to be made. There are no Kanji suggestions appearing as well! For example, if I type “nihongo,” I would expect the Japanese kanjis to appear. But it appears like this: “ｎいｈおｎｇお”. Any help would be appreciated.

is it set to romaji input or Japanese keyboard input?
Have you considered trying Linux?
Doesn’t fix your problem with the windows IME, but have you tried using the Google IME instead?
