Difference with Uni order


Is the difference in color and texture with this Uni order cause for concern? Can Uni vary in texture & be just as fresh?

  1. This Uni should be in the same package. The Uni was just presented horribly. When we serve Uni, we leave that smooth piece underneath the textured one. It could also be that the underside of their Uni is smoother.

    Either way, the serving size of that Uni is too little though it should be safe to eat. But you can’t really tell how old Uni is by looking at the color. Hopefully your chef taste tested it before serving.
