『問題な日本語』

The latest textbook I’m using with my tutor did a short chapter about Japanese that has become very common (particularly among young people), but is technically incorrect for various reasons. Sort of like how in English “ain’t” might not technically be correct (in a traditional linguistic sense) but literally most English speakers use/ understand it.

The material used was from a series called 『問題な日本語』and it has been so fascinating to read. I would highly recommend it for any advanced learners who are interested in that kind of topic!

  1. Sounds like something a pedant like me will enjoy. I will put it on my to-buy list.
