Alternately, they actually have Kiyomiya go over Okada (big ask, but I feel like it would be fair, and they would have one win a piece) and the finals is Naito vs Kiyomiya, with Naito winning and going on to face SANADA at WK (this would call back to the 2003 G1, where Hiroyoshi Tenzan defeated the NOAH Ace of the time, Jun Akiyama in the finals).

I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t see Sanada getting eliminated in the quarterfinals I see more him getting eliminated in the semifinals and finlay making it to the semifinals or finals and loses to continue the trend of making Finlay’s bullet club seem like a major threat to the main event scene

6. Judging by how the last nights’ card orders look, I see Shota & ELP getting in instead of Kaito & Ospreay.

   Could also see Zack instead of Cobb; still unsure there.

7. I’m thinking it’ll be:
   Sanada beats Takagi,
   Naito beats Okada,
   Ospreay beats Finlay,
   Cobb beats Shota or Hikuleo.
   Naito beats Sanada,
   Ospreay beats Cobb,
   Ospreay beats Naito in the finals.
   Sets up Sanada vs Naito for a world title shot bc he eliminated him, then winner of that faces Ospreay at WrestleKingdom

8. This sub pretty much has it set in stone that naito is going to win. Imagine if naito doesnt win, the world will burn.

9. This finals series is shaping up to be one of the best ever. The cards will be ridiculously stacked.

    I want okada kiyomiya as much as the next guy but we saving that for wrestlekingdom and naito ospreay final so it mirrors g1 27

11. This is my prediction (not what I want to happen but I think will happen) :

    SANADA (A1) vs **Takagi** (C2)

    **Okada** (B1) vs Zack (D2)

    Finlay (C1) vs **Ospreay** (B2)

    **Naito** (D1) vs Kaito (A2)

    Ospreay (C1/B2) vs **Naito** (D1/A2)

12. This was more or less exactly my prediction, except it really does feel weird that for this to happen, Ospreay has to beat ELP and Tanga Loa has to beat Okada.

13. I hope Naito will win the G1. Imo it’s his last real chance to main the Tokio Dome at this stage of his career and get his G1 Moment.

14. Ospreay beats Naito.

15. Am I the only one that does not want to see Naito win the G1 for a third time? I’d rather Sanada won it all and decided to challenge Naito at WK – if Sanada vs. Naito is destined to be the WK main event.
