I have been wanting to move to Japan for a while now, but not sure if it’s really even possible for me

I just finished high school and plan to take a gap year and work abroad. My main target is Japan, but I know that getting a job there is near impossible if you don’t have a degree. I’m fluent in English and have been speaking it since kindergarten, but I’m not a native speaker. I plant to study next year, maybe in Japan maybe not, not sure yet. What are my options for moving to Japan for at least a year, if there are any ?

  2. What country are you from? You could look into a Working Holiday visa if your Country has that.

  3. Do a degree that had study abroad included. You’ll have all the support you need then.

  4. As Patricklangb said, your best bet is a Working Holiday depending on your country: https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/w_holiday/index.html

You might not have any great options judging from your user name “zudikaszudikas” (Lithuania has only 100 days on their working holiday visa and Greece has zero).

You could apply to a language school or university to get a student visa: https://www.reddit.com/r/movingtojapan/wiki/visas#wiki_.22i_want_to_study_in_japan.22
