Verb forms and particles: who’s doing what?

Hey guys

Sorry for the awful title, let me try to explain what I mean.

Passive できる
Causative させる
Causative passive させられる
てあげる/くれる
てもらう

I always get confused using these verb forms because the subject of the sentence marked by a particle changes.

For example:

彼は僕に鉛筆を貸してくれた
僕は彼に鉛筆を借りさせてもらった

The Genki 2 textbook and workbook explain them well in this way:

Causative passive:
“Puppet” は “Puppet master” に (or is it the other way around? 😅)

So that’s the problem! Does anyone else find the order (correct particle usage) difficult to remember? Are there any recommendations for posters or tips for learning this super important aspect of Japanese?

Hope this made sense. Thanks 🙏
