Short Term Rentals while waiting on visa?

Anyone have experience on shorter term rentals while waiting for a visa.

Some basic information, applying for a start up and business manager visa, not only for myself but for 2 partners. On top of that, we also need to get dependent visas for spouses and children. Obviously, this can be a lengthy process but our goal was to move over the holidays so the kids could start international school at the beginning of the spring semester. Renting an apartment is going to be virtually impossible on 90-180 day visas so I’m trying to find something reasonable vs airbnb.

Thanks!
Dominic

  2. Have you considered the entrepreneur visa granted by the Tokyo Metro Government, this will give you and your partners a 6 months visa to setup your company, giving you better chances with accommodation and getting your other requirements together. The person account will be fine to store your company capital until you do incorporate, and from my experience it’s best to leave the dependants behind while you and your partners concentrate on getting the company setup. From my experience, everything takes so much long and more expensive than we plan but being there for those six months give you some room to cope with these and having the visa will allow you to have the status of resident from the day you arrive. A visitors visa won’t allow you to do much
