2. I saw someone having an issue with how he covered it, but he’s a two time world champion, in story this is a huge disappointment for him

3. NOAH really hung Kaito out to dry here, again.

4. Kaito came out looking like a big loser. Middle of the pack against rookie wrestlers. Isnt he suppose to be the best NOAH has to offer? Eddie and wheeler yuta, both from AEW, have been treated way better in their tournament runs. This is just a case of NJPW pushing their weight around on poor NOAH while they cant do the same with AEW. feels like it.

5. Shame, i was really enjoying his matches. I know he was never going to win, but a decent showing would have been nice.

6. To restore karmic balance I demand that Kaito goes and beats every aew champ at the same time.

   Nonsense that he gets jobbed out while the aew guys get to run roughshod over NJPW, the pecking order is messed up.

12. I was surprised that Kaito got jobbed here the way he did in the g1. I thought for sure that he would at least finish runner up to meet Okada in the knockout round.

13. Kaito made Hikuleo look good. In my book, that’s an accomplishment in itself. Dude is a natural heel, if only he’d embrace it like Naito does, he’d do amazing things for PW Noah. He needs to quit the wanna be Tanahashi or Idol phase and just let loose.

14. If Kaito turns heel I don’t even blame him nor will I boo him, hell if Kaito goes around kicking everyone in the face for no reason I won’t even say nothing, do your thing, you clearly need to.

15. This gotta be apart of a longer story. There’s just no way NOAH allowed their top guy to look like this. Choosing Hikuleo, while understandable is still just so odd

17. Kiyomiya’s booking in this tournament smacked of Okada’s revenge for their fight…

    New Japan would have done WAY better business if they had Kiyomiya go over, AND knock Okada out during the elimination round.

    Instead of “Rainmaker” he ought to be called the “Heartbreak Kid of Japan”.

    Foolish booking.
