This match changed me as a wrestling fan forever. I was losing my mind in the second half of the match just like the commentators.

  2. You watch this match, then you watch the endless spotfests and parkour that some big fanbases here on reddit considers “peak” wrestling today, and you ask yourself what went wrong with wrestling to get progressively worse

  3. I would think this would have been the beginning of strong style for sure based on how stiff they seemed delivering their shots at each other. However, from what I’ve read & heard, this was the norm for AJPW & other companies kinda took their approach to the point of flat out copying their style. Glad to see Goode ole’ Uncle Dave could give more than 5⭐️to a match that didn’t involve the Golden Elite or FTR. I will say of FTR, those guys are legit as fuqk in their last few matches. I enjoyed their whole multi title run, but now being solely the AEW champs is putting their game on a new level. I hope we get to see them in the Tokyo Dome this coming January looking for more gold.

My apologies for the rant as my ADHD is kicking in & making me a bit distracted. These message boards are great. Keep up the great work👍😎😁😈

  4. WHAT A NASTY TIGER DRIVER ‘91?!?!!! OMG 😱(in my best Joey Styles voice!) Damn, one slight slip or bad timing, then their goes a neck as well as a career. That was sick AF, but DAMN!
