Hi,I am in the process of buying my first car. I am searching for a parking space now and probably after obon will be able to buy the car. What I wanted to ask is is there a way to register the car with a shinagawa license plate? I am not living in shinagawa, but I heard it is the “coolest” license plate. I know you can get specific numbering etc but can you get specific area as well ?

you can if you can prove you have business to do there (family, second home/office)
Shinagawa is cool for some people, but (I’ve heard) Yokohama is the coolest for car enthusiasts.
