Quick 5 day trip

Hi all,

I’ll be going to Taiwan and am making a detour to Tokyo since my girlfriend has never been. I wanted to see if everything I’ve planned sounds feasible or if I’m doing too much.

Day 1: arrive in Haneda, take the keikyu to my hotel, and then explore Tokyo station, akiba, shibuya for the day (whatever we can do)

Day 2: Tokyo DisneySea (I’m assuming that’s a whole day?)

Day 3: Hakone day trip, ending up in Shinjuku to check out the night life

Day 4: check out of hotel, explore a bit more of Tokyo, slowly make my way down to Yokohama to the cup noodle museum and the gundam, check in to the Manyo club in Yokohama, and grab dinner in the area.

Day 5: grab breakfast, head back to Haneda.

What do you all think? TIA!

  1. For a detour to Tokyo I don’t think you’re spending much time there.

I’d save any day trips or side trips for a longer stay and just focus on tokyo. You’ll barely scratch the surface the time you’re going to be there as it is. Maybe 1 day to disneysea the rest spent in Tokyo.

  2. Tokyo is HUGE. I’ll scrap Hakone and would focus on Tokyo and Yokohama, for 5 days you’ll have plenty to do, especially if you spend already one day in TDS.
