  1. “Failure to self-correct” is one of those phrases that so beautifully captures the suffocating social atmosphere of what happens when you break the *wa*. I practically shuddered reading it.

  2. For an “editorial”, there doesn’t seem to be an author attached. Neither the English or Japanese versions of this article have a name, despite it being a scathing opinion piece.

    It’s like the person wants to look strong against drug use but is too cowardly to have any possible push back by dissenters.

  3. Without reading the article I was hoping failure to self correct actually meant “stopped being giant fusspots about tiny things and blowing them out of proportion” but, hehehe we all know that’s definitely not what they mean…. Sigh.

    Strong Zeros and Mevius do more societal damage than weed, dummies.
