Yakuodo drug store up in Yamagata was selling these absolutely outrageous apple pie ice lollies last year, inside of them is legit chopped up apple with cinnamon and everything, the works, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Then I moved back down to Tokyo and can’t find them. Just went back up North for Obon and Yakuodo isn’t stocking them. Livid. Can apparently order them in bulk from the manufacturers, but if anyone recognises these and knows anywhere within 23-ku that sell them regularly I’ll get over there in a heartbeat. Link below:

I got a couple of these in a nearby discount store called “ジェーソン/Jason” a few weeks ago but they tend to sell a lot of stuff that is either discontinued or in the process of being discontinued, which may not be a good sign.

I discovered these about two weeks ago. Would buy one every day on the way home from work. Sadly they’ve gone out of stock at my local supermarket and now I’m sad.
Yes! A fellow enjoyer of the amazing apple pie ice cream! I got the weirdest looks last year because I’d constantly buy at least 10 at a time from the nearby grocery store every week. I’m hoping these pop up more again too!

These were at the local Olympic in Saitama for 50yen each, which makes me think they’re going to be discontinued soon (sadly).
