After a lot of thought, I’d rather just learn kanji through vocab exposure. If there are going to be a mountain of kanji read 10 different ways I’d rather just learn the words through flashcards that include notes on the kanji within the word.
For example:

月曜日
_______________________
げつようび
Monday
月: month/Moon
曜: Day of the Week
日: Sun/Day
________________________________________
I’d learn to recognize kanji and kanji keyword patterns much faster just noting them as I memorize vocab.
Anyone know of any resources like this?
