Multi-day trip itinerary check (Magome-Tsumago / Takayama / Shirakawa-go / Kanazawa / Kurobe Gorge Railway / Tatayama Kurobe Alpine Route / Snow Monkey Park)

Hey again!

I recently posted my full [3 week itinerary](https://www.reddit.com/r/JapanTravel/comments/15q3166/3_week_itinerary_check_septemberoctober_2023/) which included a section not fully planned. This section is what I’m seeking your advice on here!

This will be near the end of our trip with just a few days in Tokyo afterwards. We have found a lot of awesome things to do, which is somewhat close to each other, so we’ve tried jamming all of them into a multi-day excursion.

We had planned to take busses to get around, but it seems especially difficult to get from Magome/Tsumago to Takayama, so we’re thinking of renting a car for a few days. Is there a smarter/better way of doing this?

Also, we realize that there probably won’t be snow at Snow Monkey Park. We’re hoping to see some bathing monkeys anyway. 🙂

Anything completely crazy in this itinerary? 🙂 Thanks in advance!
