A fragrant fellow was living in one of our rooms for the last 4 years. He’s moved out and the smell just won’t leave, and I’m beginning to think it’s just penetrated the wallpaper, since that’s the only thing remaining in the room. He didn’t smoke, but could spend 24 hours straight sitting on his computer, sweating.
(Have had the A/C professionally cleaned and also gone over the floor (cushion floor) with various cleaning products. )
Any suggestions on cleaning products that might help without hurting the wallpaper?
thanks in advance!

It may unfortunately be time to redo the wallpaper.
Maybe he danced all day and night, until he didn’t smell right
May i ask what kind of smell it is?
Ozone machine will literally kill any smell!
If it’s white I’d suggest a mix of water with 1/4 bleach, so like 200 ml water in a spray bottle mixed with 50 ml bleach. Give your wall paper a light spraying and dab it off with paper towels or a sponge after a few minutes. Make sure the room has the windows open though.
Past that maybe burn some incense or put in those fancy scented oil stick things?
A light misting or wipe down with 1:1 distilled white vinegar and water does wonders. Do it on a warm dry-ish day to avoid mold.
