   It’s most likely a scam. Most male actors are introduced to the industry by other male actors or by female actors. Source: My friend works in the industry. He does the script for narratives. No sexy time for him.

9. Flyer is not really how you join.. It’s a network/know people kind of thing. Enjoy the benefits around it when in but on screen it’s all business and self awareness (throw in best positioning).

12. There is a tiny chance it could be legit depending on what company was handing out those fliers. I wouldn’t immediately assume scam, but would if they required you to pay to use their services.

13. I recall an Australian friend saying someone tried to recruit him for porn in a public restroom at Umeda station. Er, I mean that’s where they spoke. Hopefully the shoot would have been somewhere a little more glamorous.

22. What you do is they take you to a dungeon set up in the basement of some office building in Kabukicho and some cameraman takes some photos of you. Unfortunately the actress couldn’t make it, so you’re by yourself in the dungeon.

    You pay them 100man-en for the cameraman’s time, etc. Then they say they’ll act as your “agent” and try finding a video for you to star in and send you on your way.

    Still waiting to hear back from them, hopefully I’ll hear back soon. I have no doubt this is legit because the cameraman had a professional looking camera. 100man-en is cheap when I consider I’m going to be neck-deep in pussy once they call me!

32. Are you Japanese passing? These days scounts in Shinjuku don’t even really try too hard to pick up foreigners to work in clubs because they now know foreigners can legally do night work so I have a super hard time they would pass around porn flyers to foreign looking girls. Post the flyer so people can check it.
