Planning on hand crafting a ring for my gf as a surprise engagement ring at Glänta but I don’t think they put gems on their rings.
My gf loves jades and I want to stick a jade on the ring I’ll make for her at a different store but idk where to look or go to. (Also what do high quality jades look like they all look the same)
Pls help this is my first time buying rings and asking someone out to be my fiancée I have no clue what I’m doing

Just buy it at Costco.
I forget the name. Something like Ginza Diamond Shiraishi, but they are a big jewelry maker in Japan. Their main focus is diamonds but they are probably open to doing custom projects with jade instead of diamonds. They have access to other gems besides diamonds because they regularly do campaigns with other gems and also do birth stones within rings.
They have stores pretty much all over Japan.
I’ve never seen jade offered in an engagement/wedding ring, but it can’t hurt to ask.
My partner had our wedding rings custom made by k-uno. They drew the design in front of us with our input, looking at reference photos we showed them. They might be able to make the ring for you with a jade stone.
If I had learned anything, it’s that the engagement ring should never be a surprise. The proposal can be, but not the engagement ring.
