So long story short I took an interest in going and living abroad. I was a teacher for adults with developmental disabilities and did some online English teaching for VIPkids working with Chinese children. So when someone suggested teaching English abroad I figured why not. Went looking at spots between South Korea, China, Spain, and Japan and settled on Japan. Well things moved kinda faster than I expected and I now have my COE, visa, and a job lined up in Hyogo but still haven’t had much luck with finding a spot to live. I’m hoping to get into a sharehouse first since I prefer living with other people and it’ll be good to socialize. Look into renting an apartment after I’ve settled into the culture.
I have about 3 weeks before I start my job. I’ve been hunting around online but haven’t really found what I’m looking for. Anyone know of some good listings or vacancies?

Where in Hyogo are you planning to move? It’s a big prefecture and usually sharehouses tend to be around bigger cities. I currently live in my own apartment in Hyogo, but when I was looking into sharehouses prior to moving here I found that [Hitsuji Share House](https://kansai.hituji.jp/comret/info/hyogo) had the best options.
The website is mostly in Japanese but there are many listings targeting foreign residents so there should be no problem contacting them in English imo.
