My SO and I have three days in Tokyo with my brother, then a couple days alone. We are planning to do most of the basic touristy activities on the first three days and wanted general advice to see if we’re missing anything big. I think robot restaurant is permanently closed
Disney Sea
I’d add Ginza after tsukiji. It’s the next stop over and I’d personally recommend going to itoya (fancy stationary store), uniqlo and muji.
> Akihabara
Just letting you know that Akiba closes pretty early, except for the arcades. It’s a cool place at night with all the lights… but if you want to do any shopping or seeing any of the sights you’d be better off going in the afternoon.
> Day 3 Morning
This, imo, is way too much. I’d focus on Teamlab and maybe grab a coffee or something.
> Golden Gai & Omoide Yokochō
IMO you don’t need to do both. The differences between them are negligible from a tourist’s perspective. I prefer Omoide Yokocho since it is (slightly) less touristy and expensive.

Most people would say Yokohama or Kamakura.
I’d personally say on your day trip do Kamakura and Enoshima or do Mt Takao for half a day and do something else in the afternoon/evening.
Nikko comes to mind for the day trip.
Given that you only have 4 days, you should just cut Tokyo TeamLabs straight out. Just spend more time around Tsukiji, or go to one of many other major attractions in that area.
What month are you going?
Day trip – either Kamakura/Enoshima or Fujikawaguchiko.
For day trips, consider Kamakura, Hakone, or Mt. Takao
If you’re going to Ueno down miss Ameyoko!
There is a bustling market there which is super fun to stroll through. There are also lots of small restaurants and bars there to sit down and watch the people passing by.
Kamakura was really cool.
Shibuya crossing is interesting only if there’s tons of people there. Think rush-hour.
This is a great itinerary. For a day trip I would do Kamakura, Nikko, or Fuji Five Lakes. Depends on the season.
Another day trip suggestion is Hakone. I really enjoyed the Hakone loop and the open air museum.
