“For men” is such cringe shit. An umbrella is an umbrella. Been carrying one myself this whole summer, same I use in rainy weather. Suppose “men” need one thats camo or gets advertised as BULLETPROOF and UNBREAKABLE and other macho affirming rubbish.
I finally broke down and started using one after getting sunstroke last month. Societal norms be damned, I don’t wanna die.
My husband just steals mine. Lol
I notice a lot more male students are using them, which is a good thing I think.

Maybe don’t dress like it’s 20 degrees out. Don’t be afraid everybody. It’s okay to not have ten layers with jeans.
I use one in Tokyo as of this year. The only person to ever say something (“it’s not raining you know”) was a western tourist. Same when I used it in Thailand.
