My wife is a beautiful person but sometimes she’s a bit of any easy target for the old salesperson. Today she got the pitch and reckons we should change our home internet to use J:com Net 320m service. Our apartment building already has a contract with jcom and we get our usual TV connection through them for whatever reason. Now, our home internet is petty average at best and gets really bad in peak usage times (YouTube sometimes starts to buffer around 10pm) but it’s decent enough whenever I’ve played online games or downloaded stuff in off-peak times. I wonder if anyone has any experience with Jcom 320m? Jcom said they will perform better in peak times compared to our current service. But I’m particularly worried about the cap on upload speeds. This afternoon at 3pm my wifi was putting out 25Mpbs download and 55Mbps upload. Switching to Jcom will save us money but I’m not really concerned about that if the service is horrible… Would like to hear anyone’s experience with this service. Thanks.
