I’m going on an exchange to a university in Japan for about 7 months, and I’m wondering what I should do for a sim card/phone plan. First of all, from looking online, it seems that phone plans in Japan are different than Canada/US, wherein they don’t have unlimited text/call with the addition of a certain amount of data, so I’m just wondering how they work? Secondly, which provider/sim card is recommended for an exchange student?
