  1. can somebody recommend some channels like konbini confessions but without any english subtitles? i like the content, but a lot of street interview channels have english subs hard-coded and having to physically block the english subtitles or use it as listening practice only kinda turns me off

  2. Does anyone know if there is a program or particular anime with subtitles in hiragana subtitles and english as well? I know there is a game with this Learn Japanese RPG: Hiragana Forbidden Speech but would love if I could watch anime with this set up I would pay money for it obviously but would love to know if there’s a system that I can sue to get better at reading and listening to Japanese.

  3. So I’m the type who needs a teacher, does anyone know any trusted websites to find a good tutor or recommendations? 🙂 any help will be appreciated

  4. Im currently training for nihongo which will take 4 months, im on my 4th week now. The class starts from 7 to 12 and 1pm to 4pm .. this training for work in japan .. the level is only n5 and i already studied minna no nihongo shoukyu 1 and 2, which could already treated as n4 level.. though i didnt get to memorize numerous kanji .. i wonder how long it would take for me to reach n2 level? I want to be able to read and speak the language, minimal on writing, but definitely almost 100% on listening .. what do u suggest should my learning process be? Our training is pretty basic for me now and totally confident i can perfect every test in it..

  5. Have been reading some 落語 for practice and in the one i’m currently reading, there’s this phrase:

ところが、おくさんが、かぜが元で、どっと具合が悪くなってしまいました。I get the sentence in general means that because of a cold, the wife’s condition suddenly became worse. However, I’m having a bit of trouble understanding how exactly the おくさんが phrase functions. Nothing here seems to take two subjects.
