I’m talking the cheapest possible. No Internet. No large or unlimited data plan. Only a phone number for calls and SMS. Something that comes with a flip phone or a sim that can be added to an old phone.
[Rakuten’s Saikyo](https://network.mobile.rakuten.co.jp/fee/saikyo-plan/) plan has unlimited free outgoing calls and SMSs (but you have to use their voip app for it). Monthly price depends on the amount of data you use. It starts at JPY980/month if you use under 3Gb, and “unlimited” data is capped at JPY2,980/month.
Answer here is povo since its 0 yen and completely pay as your go.
Unfortunately, the entire agreement must be done online. This means that you will not receive support in-store. And all their product explanations and applications are in Japanese only.
Povo!
0 Yen! Special price
Nobody in Japan uses SMS so good luck, it’s gonna be a useless plan. Everything here, even with businesses is done on LINE.
