Can I request a refund in Docomo for a possible scam?

Hello! Asking for someone. Found a “Japan-based” shop via Facebook, ordered via their website, and used a Docomo credit card as a payment method. We just realized that it might be a scam as the product was not delivered and no tracking information was provided. Their Facebook page is nowhere to be searched, and the contact number isn’t working anymore. Only an order confirmation was received via email which obviously can be just for formality.

**Has someone tried to ask Docomo or similar company for a refund for such a transaction?**

I am talking about almost 10 万円 already charged to the credit card 🙁

Thank you in advance to those who could share their experience.

  1. Yup, you can, just call them and explain what happened. It’s a pretty straightforward process and they may advise you to reissue your card to avoid being scammed again by the same person behind that website/company.
