3. I’m ok with this match because of how the card is constructed. Bullet Club has 3 title matches, including Finlay vs Tama, so it seems like it’ll be part of the story of the show in some way.

   I’m ok with a short low card match actually advancing a story instead of just being there

12. I might be overreacting but I don’t understand why NJPW would bring Loa back at all after that G1 showing. He had the worst match of the night consistently which I can overlook but on top of that he made his opponent’s look like idiots having to sell that stupid chop strike combo where he would barely connect. Chase might be boring but at least his stuff looks good and his finishes are usually quite good. Imagine paying for international airfare for a guy nobody wants to see who then goes ahead and puts no effort into anything and makes your main eventers look ridiculous selling for.

14. Really disappointing. We had planned to go to the Ryogoku event, and this was specially arranged with some friends. We will now go to Destruction in Kobe and a Freedoms show two days later instead, the card is just so disappointing. I can’t imagine they will draw well there if someone in the position of being in Japan as a rare occasion chooses not to go to something they planned around for months. Obviously just one person, but feels that way, it feels senseless for the biggest show until Tokyo Dome.

20. It won’t be match of the night, but have you seen the rest of the line up? I highly doubt this would go past 15 minutes and the rest of the show looks pretty good.

23. I Love that NJPW has wrestlers that are so just bleh that they never really change and remain in the same position for years, Like Chase… does anyone care about him?? I don’t dislike him I just don’t find him interesting in the slightest, He is just another bullet club member.

28. I am definitely in a minority, but I like Chase Owens and enjoy watching him. After that G1 tho it is kind of impossible to take Loa seriously, Okada selling that combo will live rent free in my head for a while. Probably disappointing, but one can hope.

I’m a fat ass mark for both of these and though I don’t blame any of you for absolutely tearing into him I think he’s just playing it at least safe cause after all that knee injury almost ended his career and I’m sure he wouldn’t want to re injure his knee and probably actually having his career end just by that which explains why he hasn’t been all that great since his return so I think he should just rest up his knee a bit and stick to more tag and trios area and maybe come back to singles competition when it’s a bit better. As for Chase I don’t know I guess get better at wrestling not saying he’s a bad wrestler I like him but people do see him as just meh not saying he needs to be the next okada or ospreay maybe a more prime kojima like wrestler thank you for listening
