   I’mma hazard a guess they didn’t come from all over the world, they came from all over Japan.

2. Articles like this really don’t help with the misconception among some that Japan is already open.

   “some foreign residents in Japan converge on Nagoya” might be more accurate given the continued ban on incoming tourism…!

10. **This was the [World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya](https://worldcosplaysummit.jp/en/) and yes, some folks came from overseas as they won the right to compete in the Championship over the past year or so. They would have been granted specific Visas for this entry.**

14. I went! I love cosplay events. Friendly people and free photoshoots even if you’re a 4/10 lol.
