I’m about halfway through my laser tattoo removal process that I started two years ago. Covid really put a delay on the frequency of appointments and I’m not left with a half visible blob of sorts, with about four sessions left. I move to Japan in about five weeks for the next two years and would love to finish it there if possible.

Laser tattoo removal is available to everyone, but it’s not covered by any insurance, if that’s what you are asking. Because it’s not as common as a procedure, expect it to be more expensive than other countries.

Why wouldn’t it be? There’s no law against foreigners receiving cosmetic medical treatments. If you have the money, you can get whatever you want.
