We are a couple in 30’s traveling first time to Japan.

Day 1: (Will reach around 4.30)
– Tokyo Tower
– Mori art museum

Day 2:
– Sensoji Temple
– Nakamise Dori
– Ueno Park
– Akhiabara

Day 3:
– Shinjuku goen garden
– Meiji shrine
– Shibuya crossing
– Hachiko memorial statue
– Shibuya sky

Day 4:
– Imperial palace
– Ginza district
– Teamlab planets
– Odaiba
– Rainbow bridge
– Sega joypolis

Day 5:
– Tokyo Disneysea

How does the itinerary look like? Doable? Should I add something? Should I skip something? From here our onward journey will be to Hakone and then Osaka/Kyoto.

I am not sure about Joypolis as read some negative reviews that the lines are way too long to enjoy and also interested to know more about Red tower Tokyo.

Would also like to know does a Taxi fare differs a lot if I book through Uber or any other app? What would be the cheapest way to book a taxi? As we would be using it as much as possible to save some time. Otherwise we have no issues using the public transport wherever needed.

Thanks in advance for the thoughts/suggestions/recommendations and any other information or inputs.

  1. >How does the itinerary look like

    Looks fine.

    >Doable?

    Yes

    >Should I add something?

    I wouldn’t.

    >I am not sure about Joypolis

    >Red tower Tokyo

I haven’t been to joypolis but you’re in that area already so you could look around and see how busy it is and then make up your mind.
Tokyo Tower Red is in a different part of Tokyo that you haven’t said your going too. I have been to Red. You will need to book a time, and the lines can be long there too. It’s mainly interactive VR games.

  2. I’ve only ever gone to joypolis at night when it’s cheaper and never queued longer than 5 minutes.
It’s fine and I’ve always had fun but it is expensive for what it is.
