I’m a first time solo traveler and looking for itinerary advice. I am turning 25 soon and I always dreamed of going Japan. I have no one to go with me so I said f\*\*k it and booked a trip. I am scared, excited, etc. but happy I’m taking this risk 🙂
I love anime, museums, animals, and live music. I feel like my evenings are empty so any suggestions for evening activities is appreciated. Also, I’m not really a foodie but let me know if there any must-experience restaurants.

**Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo**
* Arrival at Haneda Airport at 4:30PM
* Check into APA hotel
* Grab dinner
**Day 2: Tokyo –> Kyoto**
* Check out of hotel by 10AM
* Take Tokaido Line Nozomi Shinkansen train to Kyoto (2.5 hours)
* Drop off suitcases and Check into APA hotel later that evening
* Site-see Kyoto (Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, Tofukuji Temple, and Nishiki Market)
**Day 3: Kyoto**
* Approx. 9AM: Rent a Kimono via Okamoto and have a photoshoot at Kiyomizu Temple
* Site-see Kyoto (wander around Gion District)
**Day 4: Kyoto–>Otsu**
* Note: I will keep my APA hotel reservation while I stay at the Ryokan for 1 night
* Approx. 10AM: Take train to Ryokan (Yumotokan)
* Grab lunch
* Check into Yumotokan at 3PM
* Enjoy onsen and spa
**Day 5: Otsu–>Kyoto**
* Check out of Yumotokan by 10AM
* Site-seeing Kyoto (Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo castle, and Kyoto Imperial Palace)
* All these places hours are 9AM to 5PM so I will be cognizant of that
**Day 6: Kyoto –> Nijigen no Mori –>Kyoto**
* Travel to Naruto Theme Park in Nijigen no Mori (Approx. 1.5 hours)
* First take train from Kyoto Station to Shin Kobe Station, then take shuttle bus from Shin-Kobe Station to Nijigen no Mori
* Enjoy park (3 hours) I honestly only care about the Naruto theme park, so it’ll depend on my mood if I visit the other attractions.
* Travel back to Kyoto
* Pack suitcase
**Day 7: Kyoto–>Tokyo**
* Take Tokaido Line Nozomi Shinkansen train to Tokyo (2.5 hours)
* Drop off suitcases Check into APA hotel
* Site see Tokyo (Ginza district for shopping)
**Day 8: Tokyo–>Lake Kawaguchiko–>Tokyo**
* Purchased ticket for guided group tour of Lake Kawaguchiko for Mt.Fuji views
* Meet up at 8AM in Shinagawa and then drop off at 6:00PM at Shinjuku Station
**Day 9: Tokyo**
* Explore cafes (Pokemon cafe, Hedgehog cafe, and maid cafe)
* For all 3 of them I have to make a reservation so I will make sure to do that
* Pack suitcase
**Day 10: Departure from Tokyo**
* Check out of hotel by 10AM
* Grab brunch
* Departure from Haneda Airport at 6:35PM
