   **Best call&data sim provider?**

   Hello!

   I’ll be moving to Japan on October for at least 1 year to study Japanese and I was wondering if you know what’s the best call/data provider for foreigners. My Japanese aren’t that great so I need:

   A provider that has English support

   Their sim needs to be working on unlocked phones (have noticed online that this is an issue with most providers in Japan)

   I’ve seen that Sakura mobile is a good option but I also found out that data-only sims have a network problem with my phone model, Google Pixel 7 pro. I’m not sure if this is a data-sim only problem (as I’ve seen people mentioning that the main issue is that it’s trying to find a call number or something) or if its an issue for call&data sims as well. Their support hasn’t gotten back to me about this yet.

   Suggestions/recommendations or any other information would be very much appreciated.
