Designated Activity Visa for the the purpose of job hunting

Hello! I am a recent graduate of a university in Tokyo and am in the process of switching from a student visa to a “job hunting” visa – under the greater category of “Designated Activity Visa.”

**I am wondering about the financial viability component of this visa.** I am required to submit a statement indicated my savings and my ability to support myself as many other visa types also require. The catch is I have no idea what the threshold they are looking for is. The MOFA website says 200,000 yen but that seems suspiciously low to me as it is significantly lower than the financial viability requirements for a student visa or long long term holiday visa. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any intel on the financial viability threshold for this visa type? I am feeling really anxious about this process and am worried I will be rejected on the basis of finances so I want to know what I can expect.
