Is there a reason why Japanese people clip their nails in “public”? My classmates would just do it during lunch break in the cafeteria, my coworkers do it at the office and my housemates all do it in the living room, so at this point I guess can just assume it’s a cultural thing?

I kind of confused with JP Post/Yucho as I want to transfer money to another Japanese account for paying some stuff that is more than 100,000 in amount. I read online that the remittance limit is 500,000, but when I tried to do the transfer through the mobile app suddenly it says that the daily remittance limit is 50,000.
Has anyone experienced or got through similar stuff? Which one is actually the correct limit though, 5-man or 50-man?
Has anyone tried **EAT (Epipharyngeal Abrasive Therapy)** also known as B-Spot treatment? (*If you don’t know what it is you probably haven’t tried it*). I am very confused by the Japanese banking system and my Japanese is too bad to ask at the bank. They don’t understand my questions and I don’t understand their answers.
I signed up for an account at JPBank. Is regular savings account (I think?) is regular savings and normal savings, when translated in google translate, different? I just can’t figure out how to buy things online. I just want to spend my Japanese salary to buy things here. I thought setting up PayPal would be the answer but it won’t let me add money to PayPal. Is this because of the type of account I have?

I know these fall under reasonable. However, I start at 9am. Break is from 10-11am then finish at 6.30pm. 30mins paid as overtime.
Putting my break after the first how then working a solid 7.5 hours with a break seems wrong. It is illegal in my home country. Not sure about here.
So I live in southern Osaka Prefecture and I want to try out hello work to find a job. The one in Osaka city says that it has a person who can speak English, but the one closest to me does not. Do I have to go to the one closest to me or can I go to one that is further away? I would call but my Japanese is horrible.

Being the baka gaijin that I am, I accidentally put an important document envelope in the international mail part of a post box, only realizing once it was too late.
(Question is, am I screwed? The envelope was one of those self-return, free to post-letters, that already had the japanese address filled in.)

I’ve got an employment offer from an eikaiwa. The position would involve relocating from Tokyo to Touhoku. I want to tell the company that I’d like two weeks after the contract and work visa are finalized before I start work. I figure I need at least that long to find an apartment, purchase all the extra suits I need, and actually move.
Is this a reasonable request to make? Am I requesting too little time?

Both my spouse and I are self employed and our business has not been doing well this year. We will be looking at only 3-3.5 mil net profit as income between us. We will earn another 1.5 mil income but this part is from real estate. No kids. Am I going to be fine for spouse visa renewal early 2024 or is the income too low? Everything is taken care of, no issues with taxes, health insurance and nenkin. I’ve been on 1->1->3 year renewals and wish to ask for 5 years this time.
