I don’t know if an anti-gen test is something different, but I recently bought a Covid test at a random drug store. The kind where you put a stick up your nose.
You can buy antigen (one word) tests OTC at many pharmacies. Proper pharmacies, not drug stores. Just go in and ask.
The COVID-Ag/Influenza A&B tests run around 3,000 yen.
