Itinerary Check – 16 days (Kyoto, Osaka, Koya, Tokyo)

Looking for any and all feedback on my full itinerary. It will be me (male 30) and my friend (male 32) going together. I have been taking some Japanese at a college for the last year and know some basic conversation if that helps with any feedback.

Mostly curious if the itinerary each day makes sense (too much or suggestions to add) or if anyone recommends moving anything around at all (either entire days or specific items from one day to another). Biggest concern is if Himeji+Kobe+Osaka day is too much and if there is a better alternative for kobe beef back in Osaka that makes more sense.

These are just the main items I would like to hit but we might try to fit in some smaller things if time allows. Not planning to make many food decisions ahead of time other than what is listed but open to suggestions for that as well! Note that “nightlife” just means going out for drinks in that area.

  1. You don’t need to go to Kobe to eat Kobe beef: it’s fairly widely available

Most of your days look very over crowded.
