This is the original post, but some people couldn’t see it, so I reworked the post.
It’s been so weird explaining this in real time to… just about anyone. A friend sent me a photo to the Sydney Opera House done up in red and white lights for solidarity a week after everything happened, and I had to explain to her “lol sorry but the news is already catching on to this dude’s story and it’s less mourning and more wtf”
