Japanese audio lessons in a restaurant bathroom

I went to [Marugame udon](https://marugame.co.uk/) in the UK and to my surprise when I walked into the bathroom I hear:

“Watashi wa gakusei desu. I’m a student.”

“Watashi wa *Igirisujin desu.* I am British.”

They were playing a Japanese language CD.

They also had a lot of educational info on the wall about Japanese culture (e.g., tea drinking in Japan).

Have you found any places where you live that are good for practising Japanese?

  1. U:don (Seattle) and Bamboo Sushi (Portland) does that too, IIRC. I haven’t been to the Bamboo Sushi in Seattle yet to see if they do also. Coastal Kitchen does cuisines of different countries around the world, so while it isn’t Japanese they do play language tapes in their bathrooms.
