Food delivery hasn’t arrived and I can’t contact the place… what do I do?

Ordered Domino’s a little over an hour ago and it was supposed to be delivered at 7pm. I got a missed call from them at 6:45pm which I assume was them telling me that there’s a problem but my phone is screwed and it won’t let me phone them back. The place is too far away to get to and I haven’t received any other update / cancellation email / refund, etc. etc….. Help :’)

  1. I haven’t ordered Dominos in forever, but when I did, the email they send you (telling you that it’s on the way) was accompanied by the driver’s route which you could see in real time (using GPS, presumably). If you didn’t even get that mail then yeah, something’s up the creek…

    If they phone you it might mean that they can’t find your exact location. It’s not common, but it can happen. But again if you can’t contact them? More creek.

  2. What do you mean by “my phone is screwed and it won’t let me phone them back”? That exact number or you can’t call anyone?

  3. They probably called you they don’t have some ingredient for your pizza. If you don’t answer that call they would cancel and refund automatically.

  4. Can’t help, but Domino’s has a coupon app!

    It’s conveniently named “Domino’s Coupon App”. Developer: Domino’s Pizza Japan, Inc. I don’t use it often, but the few times I did, it was good. Can’t guarantee that it’s still good or even good enough, it’s been a long time.

  5. How did you order? I assume it was via the web or the app. If that’s the case then you would be able to see the status of the order.
