Hey everyone, have a bit of a strange question here.
I’ll be moving to Japan to work for about a year and have been considering a purchase of a high-end Herman Miller chair for a few years now.
As I won’t be taking any furniture with me and I’ll be working long hours while abroad, I’ve been considering purchasing one while I’m there. However, I’d like to obviously hold on to this chair for many years after leaving Japan.
Are there any services that wouldn’t be crazy expensive to ship a 63lbs chair from Japan back to Canada when I return?
I’ve searched around online and seen huge variance in estimates and wondered if anyone here can vouch for a particular service. Any help appreciated!

I think you should count on spending a few hundred dollars to ship it, I can’t imagine doing it for less than 300-500CAD
