Any recommendations for places to buy desk chairs? I sat in all the ones in Nitori and even at maximum height they felt too short for me. I’m 168cm so I’m not even that tall but does anyone have any other stores they recommend?
Officebusters have used office chairs for a steep discount. I got a nice aeron for a 60% discount and it looked brand new.
What type of chair do you normally like? Budget?
Officebusters is great for getting high end chairs for a reasonable price.
Amazon also works just fine, although generally quality is lower
Amazon is pretty fine for me, though I prefer a mix of office/gaming chair that doesn’t look like a gaming one
If you’re planning on working from the chair for a long time, try to find a used Aeron chair. Your back and butt will thank you.
Try a gaming chair from Yodabashi. They have a big selection….
Agree with the others on Officebusters. But I prefer the Embody over the Aeron – been using mine for 10 years and it’s fantastic
Avoid buying a chair online without trying it first. Bought 2 chairs from Tokyo Interior, and out of ~20 models, only one was adjustable enough to fit me well (though I’m tall, and wanted a headrest which limited options even more). Avoid “gaming” chairs, they are worse than a normal office chairs in every aspect other than appearance (debatable).
What’s your budget? If you have money Herman miller and steelcase are great brands
