Hi, I’m curious how Manga and Anime fans feel about themes and memes from Anime being adapted by American productions?

Specifically the new show “My Adventures with Superman”- its as close as I’ve ever seen to an Anime made outside of Japan.

Is it cool? Is it flattering? Is it cultural appropriation and offensive?
