Hi all, I’m going through Shin Kanzen Master N2 Grammar and came across a question I can’t find an explanation for.
この絵本は（）が、大人の読者が多い。
1 – 大人向けというわけではない
2 – 大人向けということではない
3 – 大人に向けるわけではない
4 – 大人に向けることではない
I picked 3, but the correct answer was 1 instead, though I’m not sure what’s the difference between the 2 answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
徹す, 通す, 透す are these all just different forms of the same verb?
If i am going to take JLPT, can I jump to take JLPT N3 without taking JLPT N5,N4 or is it prerequisite to take those first?
映画は見ないことはないが詳しくもない
Can somebody explain the grammar/ meaning of this sentence? The も+ triple negative is stumping me a little. Does it mean “Just because I haven’t seen that movie/a lot of movies doesn’t mean that I can’t tell you about them in detail?”
