**To preface, I already have an alright grasp of conversational Japanese as it relates to grammar, asking people about the weather etc. This is a terrible metric to use but I can watch slice of life anime without subtitles and understand 85-90%.**
I’m a doctor who works in an area with a large Japanese population. Our interpreters tend not to be any good. I’m a psychiatry resident, though I frequently see (physical) trauma and surgical patients due to mental health issues so I see the whole spectrum.
What would be the best resource for me to learn medical vocabulary, including parts of the body, common medical conditions, and trauma related concepts like “pain” and “car crash”?

I’ve made this [anki deck for medical terms](https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/369218210), but it’s far from comprehensive and I’m not a medical professional. If you do use it and would like anything added/see any mistakes, you’re more than welcome to let me know and I’ll edit it. (I originally started it when I was an interpreter for inhouse Japanese employees and occasionally had to go with them to the dentist or doctor)
[I also found this PDF](https://pdfhost.io/v/dayXHhWCo_) a long time ago which is a multilingual PDF including Japanese and English for a collection of medical terms, though, the psych section isn’t that big. That website I hosted it on is kind of crap it seems, so if you want the pdf I have saved on my computer then dm me your email and I’ll send it to you that way. I think you can download it from that website though…
I suppose you may need a medical dictionary at some point. I don’t know what are popular in the medical community. Phone apps might be most convenient.
One place to start figuring out what is available in electronic format is to see what is on the Casio Ex-Words (which are staggeringly expensive for medicine). Monokakido has a psych dictionary for iOS. Logovista has a sale on one of their Medical dictionary packages.
