I want to recharge my JP PayPal account with a visa vanilla prepaid host card, but every time I try it says it has a issue, even I have enough balance. I heard you need to activate it for online purchases, but I can’t find where to do as, and as I am a gaijin, my Japanese isn’t good enough to read the site, and the English version has been very unhelpful. Could someone please guide me thru on how to activate the card and refil my PayPal balance

The SMS activation is no longer required since April 2023. Contact customer service, they have english support: 0570-077-096
