\-Masuda Chaho (dessert)
**Nara** (1hr from Uji Station)
\- Todai-ji Nandaimon
\- Nara Park to feed the deers
\- Nakatanidou Stand for mochi
\- Exploring around the neighborhood
\- Dinner at Nara

Definitely doable. Uji will take you 2-3 hours, Nara will take probably closer to 4-5 hours. Note that Byodoin temple opens at 830AM but there is a beautiful Starbucks just steps away.
