Hi. I’m a foreign student in Japan. I will be having conference in Hiroshima on 14-15 September. Since I have got this opportunity, I have decided to explore scenic views of Kansai region on 17-19 September. Since I can’t get any JR passes due to my visa type my only option is to use [kansai_wide_excursion_pass](https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/ticket/pass/kansai_wide_excursion/). I’m lucky that this limited pass exists. I’m also bit broke so I’m not staying in some fancy hotels 🙁 . So instead of visiting many famous places around Kyoto and Osaka, I have decided to checkout other prefectures. Al I want is scenarios with great views and to experience them. I need help to realise my itenary is good or too much.
Day 1 (17 SEP)
Osaka to Himeji -> Himeji castle, Kokoen
Himeji to Okayama -> Marugame castle (I like the view of train crossing sea at Seto bridge), cycling from Bichu-Takamatsu to Soja (I like the view of Kibiji).
Okayama to Tottori -> Stay at Hotel.
Day 2 (18 SEP)
Tottori sand dunes (I like the views and beach)
Tottori to Amanohashidate -> take the ropeway to see the view. Walk and do cycling on the strait and enjoy the view.
Amanohashidate-> Higashi Maizuru. Stay at hotel here as it was cheaper and more accessible to Kyoto.
Note: I wanted to visit Funaya, but time was not enough (T_T). The train from tottori to Amanohashidate is largest time consumer and constraint 🙁
Day 3 (19 SEP)
Higashi Maizuru to Kyoto to Shiga -> enjoy Biwa lake terrace view. Do some activities there.
Shiga to Oumihachiman -> enjoy the scenic views of Hachiman bori moat.
Oumihachiman to Kyoto -> Experience the night life of Kyoto and stay at hotel.
So this was my itenary. Please feel free to add or remove locations. I want to experience the great views in Kanto region. I’m open to recommendations. And I will be grateful if you can judge if this is possible itenary. I also wanted to experience at Wakayama like Adventure World at Shirahama, Nachi falls, Yunomine onsen Yuzutsu, Kumano-Kodo Nakahechi Pilgrimage Route, cat train at Kishi Station. But travelling here is way too much over budget without pass.
These two dates (16 & 20 SEP) I’m flexible to experience Kyoto and Osaka.
16 SEP
I will be arriving on Osaka from Hiroshima and have decided to visit Nara and Dotonbori glico, experience night life and street foods of Osaka.
20 SEP
Will be for Arashiyama bamboo forest and Fushimi inari taisha.
I’m not a temple/shrine person but will visit very few famous shines. I would like you people to suggest some fun experience and places to experience best of Osaka and Kyoto on those dates.

Kyoto to Tokyo -> (END)
