10 Fri – Kanazawa

* still unsure the best route to take and if there is anything *must* do on the way back
* route up to Toyama then down (Hokuriku) vs the way we took to Kyoto (Tokaido) both seem about the same time and cost

14 Tue – Tokyo (stay in Asakusa)

* explore Asakusa
* make our way to Guitar street to shop music stores
* explore Akihabara afternoon/evening (maid cafe? seems cringe but also kinda fun maybe)

* KEISEI Oshiage Access Express A18 from Asakusa subway to NRT. Leaves at 1301 and 1341 Fly out at 5pm! (Toei Asakusa Line Airport Limited Express) otherwise known as (AP limited express)
* I have a hard time figuring out the transit and trains. There are AP limited express, rapid express, express, etc. It looks like we want to take the AP limited express for NRT but I don’t want to mess it up and miss my light or something.
*Perhaps get to NRT early and hang out in the lounge and eat before flight

I’m having a tough time trying to slim down my Kyoto days. I know I won’t hit everything on the list but working on trying to narrow down more of the must stops. I love architecture, Japanese gardens, and food and drink. I don’t need to eat at fancy reservation only Michelin star restaurants everyday but wouldn’t mind something slightly nice because we will be celebrating our anniversary while in Asakusa. Is there a good day on my itinerary (or multiple days even ) to rent bikes in Kyoto? Appreciate any tips anyone might have.
